Current estimates of US teens who are transgender

A study released in 2017 by The Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law found that .7 percent of young people ages 13-17 identify as transgender in the United States. This was the first study to provide an estimate of the transgender youth population in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
