A national survey conducted in 2015 by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that lesbian, gay and bisexual high school students routinely face greater risks than non-LGB high school students while on school property:

In 2015, the CDC began including questions relating to sexual orientation in its national Youth Risk Behavior Survey. This allowed the CDC to gather comprehensive data on the risks faced by lesbian, gay, and bisexual youth.
